On Friday, 10/29/10, we will have a Hebrew Grammar quiz on nouns and adjectives. .
The best way to study for this quiz is to review pages 2-18 in the 7th-8th Grade Grammar booklet, and memorize the rules.

Dear Parents,

It was my pleasure to meet you today at school. I hope that you enjoyed the Special Person Day performances, and saw how much your child grew and progressed with his/her Hebrew. The children were very proud of themselves, being able to sing and speak Hebrew with confidence and with clear voices.

As you know, oral expression and public speaking in Hebrew are two of our main focuses this year. Your child has many opportunities to express himself/ herself in Hebrew, and practice given conversations with classmates. All that defiantly contributes to your child's ability to speak, sing and perform in Hebrew.

Reading book, Kibbutz and more...

Shalom,

We were all excited to start our reading book this week. The setting of this book is a kibbutz is Israel, during the British mandate. We researched about kibbutzim in Israel, and compared between kibbutzim 5o years ago, and kibbutzim today.

Home Work- Due Friday 10-8-10:
Write a summary (2 paragraphs) about the kibbutz.
